ME COMPLACE

Me complace ser igual en la diversidad,

hacer de mi yo un igual a ti, sin barreras,

aunque hablemos otro idioma y tengamos otra Fe.

Porque la Fe bien entendida en todos los credos

hablan del amor, no de odio que causa divisiones,

porque las fronteras son imaginarias e inventadas.

Me complace creer que un día podremos comprenderlo

porque no hay diferencias entre tú y yo en la esencia,

nacemos del mismo modo en cualquier parte del mundo

y aunque la vida y costumbres sean diversas en cada región

todos partimos de este mundo dejando recuerdos y huellas

y solo de nosotros depende ese instante que compartimos.

I am pleased to be equal in diversity,

make me an equal to you, without barriers,

even if we speak another language and have another faith.

Because the faith well understood in all creeds

They speak of love, not hate that causes divisions,

because borders are imaginary and invented.

I am pleased to believe that one day we can understand

because there are no differences between you and me in essence,

we are born the same way anywhere in the world

and although life and customs are different in each region

we all leave this world leaving memories and traces

and that moment that we share depends only on us.
